Austin, Texas, has earned its reputation as the "Live Music Capital of the World," and after spending an amazing girls weekend there, it’s easy to see why. Whether you're into delicious food, vibrant nightlife, or just soaking up the sun in Zilker park, Austin has something for every type of traveler. Here’s a look at how my friends and I made the most of our fun-filled weekend in this eclectic city!
Next up, it was time to explore South Congress Avenue, one of the city’s most famous streets. The colorful murals, unique boutiques, and funky shops make it a must-see spot. We couldn’t resist popping into Allen’s Boots for some cowboy boots and exploring all the quirky vintage stores. And, of course, we made sure to snap a group photo in front of the famous "I love you so much" mural!
By evening, it was time for some fun on Sixth Street, Austin's famous nightlife hub. The live music scene in this city is unmatched, and we had an absolute blast hopping between bars and checking out local bands. Whether you're into country, rock, or indie, there’s a spot for every music lover. Our favorite place was the electric Pete's Dueling Piano Bar.
Austin is by far a trip I will never forget! Relaxing and yet so eventful. See you again soon!
